Research activities:

· Population biology of mediterranean annual plants

· Population dynamics and seed traits

· Relation between grazing and vegetation with respect to plant functional traits

· Floristics and biogeography of vascular plants and bryophytes in the western mediterranean basin, especially Provence (F), Sardinia (IT) and Northern Africa.

· Regeneration of moss- and lichen communities in mediterranen (ephemeral humid) ecosystems

· Vegetation and historical land use types: ice-yielding, cereal cultivation, pastures

· Vegetation and population processes with explicit spatial reference

· Mediterranean vernal and ephemeral wetland vegetation
